About Us
Rehm's Nursery & Garden Center is located at 5801 Lomas Blvd. in Albuquerque, NM between San Mateo Blvd and San Pedro Dr. Known as the "Purple Greenhouse", Rehm's Nursery and Garden Center has supplied Albuquerque with seasonal color for over 80 years! What started as a small herb stand, Rehm's now occupies two city blocks full of annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees and all of your gardening needs!

caring and maintaining your plants. We are a family & locally owned business that is licensed and certified
to create flourishing gardens/landscapes. We assure you that we only
use superior quality materials to grow some of our own plants, veggies and herbs on-site.

We know how daunting it is to try and grow your own plants and blooms…especially here in the Southwest. In order to provide you with healthy plants and flowers, we grow some of them in our own greenhouses on-site (seasonal). This assures our customers that they are already acclimated to our climate. Plants are our passion and anyone who is passionate about them too will know the difference when you purchase your plants from Rehm's. Our large variety of annuals, perennials, true dwarf and semi-dwarf fruit trees, ornamental trees, shrubs, drought tolerant xeriscape plants, roses, vines, grapes, berries, herbs and 4-pk and gallon size tomatoes, 4-pk lettuce, chard, spinach, peppers, squash, eggplants, melons, cucumbers, pumpkins, & more can create a beautiful, satisfying, healthy and harmonious environment for your home, family and friends.
ROSES
Rehm's is known to have the largest variety of the most beautiful roses in town! Our roses are stocks from Week's, Star and David Austin Roses. The roses arrive bare root in January where they are potted up, sweated and grown on-site to be available for sale in April (weather dependent). Looking for a specific, special rose? HOUSEPLANTS
Our Tropical House houses a large variety of houseplants, including but not limited to, airplants, succulents, cactus, Aloe Vera, African Violets, vines, philodendron, ficus, scented geraniums, carnivorous plants, bonsai, exotic flowers as well as lots and lots of usual and unusual blooms. Sizes range from 2 ½” pots to tree sizes.
BAREROOTS (RASPBERRIES, STRAWBERRIES, ASPARAGUS, RHUBARB)
Weather dependent, our bareroot Raspberries, Strawberries, Asparagus crowns and Rhubarb are available (typically) the first of February and again the first of April. In bareroot supplies, these items can be purchased in multiples to be more cost effective than buying in a plant form.
BULBS (SEASONAL)
Spring Bulbs (Tulips, Daffodils, Iris, Crocus, Hyacinths, Muscari, Allium, and some Little Treasurers, Onion Sets, Potato Seeds, Garlic) typically arrive mid to latter part of September. These bulbs can be planted October/November for beautiful springtime bloom.
Amaryllis and Paperwhite bulbs usually arrive mid-October for Christmas blooming.
Summer Bulbs (Gladiolus, Lily of the Valley, Hostas, Dahlias, Cannas, Lily's, Caladium, Elephant Ears, Ferns, Ranunculus) typically arrive mid to latter part of February. These bulbs can be planted March/April for beautiful summer blooming.
VEGETABLES
Our "homegrown" veggies are available dependent on the season. Cool weather veggies (chard, spinach, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, collards, peas, beans, etc) are available in 4-packs during the cooler months. Summer veggies (tomatoes, peppers, squash, eggplant, cucumbers, etc) are available (weather dependent) latter part of March/April/May.
